Bilbao Exhibition Centre has celebrated the "Industry and Technology Summit 2011".

Our first year students of Design Manufacture in Production and Production Scheduling and second year students of Automatic Regulation and Control Systems have attended the Summit focusing this visit in the field of Automation and Robotics

The European Union stimulates inside the educational program LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME, the mobility for professionals of the Vocational training (VETpro). The teacher of the Department of Electricity and Electronics at Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri, Jokin Goioaga, has taken part in this initiative.

Internationalisation Training Course: IOA2

Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri (P.I.T) is currently participating (2009-2011) as a partner in the IOA2 Project (International Operations Agent), which is funded by the European Community. The main objective of IOA2 is to develop the professional competences of VET teaching staff and coordinators who work in an international context.

Kick-off meeting of the internationalization project INtheMC

Eight partners from seven countries collaborate in this two year long project. Transfer of the outcomes of a Finnish National research project about internationalization is the basis for a new Leonardo da Vinci project, entitled ‘INternationalisation and Mobility in the students Curricula’.

Txorierri in the 19th EfVET Conference

Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri took part in the 19th EfVET Conference (European Forum of Vocational Education and Training, www.efvet.org). We held a roundtable to disseminate the results of the European project we coordinate: CATEL (www.catelproject.net).
